A former customer in Ashford asked for a quotation to replace misted double glazing in a ground-floor flat.
Every glazing unit had moisture trapped inside, so the sealed units had clearly failed.
After the initial visit and measurements, the replacement units were manufactured within a few days. The order included toughened glass for the rear kitchen-door sidelight where the safety specification required it.
I returned once the new units were ready and replaced all of the failed glazing.
The installation took a couple of hours. Before leaving, I cleaned the new glass and lubricated the window mechanisms and hinges as part of the final check.
The flat was left with clear replacement glazing throughout instead of moisture-filled failed units.
