A customer in Walton-on-Thames had lost the keys for the top lock on a barn door, which had left the door unusable for quite some time.
After an initial consultation and quotation, the customer decided to arrange the lock replacement for a later date that suited everyone.
When I returned, I replaced the top deadlock with a British Standard security lock and fitted a standard nightlatch to the lower position, both from van stock.
The barn door had not been used for a while, so there were a few cobwebs to clear and some adjustment was needed before everything lined up properly.
Once the new locks were fitted and the door adjusted, both locking points were operating smoothly again and the customer had working keys for the door.
