A customer in Weybridge got in touch after buying a property and wanted several of the locks changed.
He had a very specific brief: high-security locks, an antique-brass finish and, importantly, locks keyed alike so he would not have to carry a bundle of different keys. I did not have anything in stock that met all of those requirements, so after going through exactly what he wanted I went away and researched the available options.
The system chosen was from EVVA. It was a very solid piece of engineering, available in the required finish, supplied keyed alike and with controlled key duplication. The locks came prepared from the factory in Austria and were ready to fit when they arrived.
Once installed, the property had the appearance the customer wanted together with the convenience of operating several locks from the same key. It was a particularly nice system to work with and a good example of why a security upgrade does not always have to mean accepting whatever finish or key arrangement happens to be on the shelf.
