A returning customer in Ashford wanted the back-door lock changed to something with a higher security rating.
I talked through the different cylinder security standards and the customer decided to go with a British Standard 3-star cylinder rather than another basic replacement.
I had the correct size in van stock, so there was no need to order parts or arrange a second visit. I removed the existing cylinder, fitted the upgraded one and tested the door and lock before finishing.
It was one of those pleasantly straightforward jobs where the part was already on the van and everything went exactly as expected — not something I get to say about every locksmith job.
