A customer in Feltham got in touch because a window had become increasingly difficult to close and had eventually reached the point where it would not close at all.
The hinges were clearly worn out and really had been left a little too long before being dealt with.
I removed the failed hinges and fitted a new pair.
Once adjusted and tested, the window was opening and closing properly again.
There was some existing damage to the window frame as well, but unfortunately the chipped section was not something I could repair as part of this job.
The hinge problem itself was fully resolved and the window was back in normal use.
