A customer in Shepperton wanted a cat flap installed in the garden door and also needed the misted glazing in the top half of the door replaced.
The lower section required a new reinforced panel for the cat flap, while the upper section needed a replacement double-glazed unit.
I measured the door and ordered both parts, specifying UV-protected glazing for the new upper panel.
A few days later, once the replacement glazing and reinforced lower panel were ready from the manufacturer, I returned to fit everything.
The old sections were removed, the new reinforced panel and double-glazed unit were installed, and the cat flap was fitted into the lower panel.
The complete installation took less than an hour on the return visit and restored the glazing while also giving the customer’s cat its new access through the garden door.
