A customer in Ashford called after accidentally locking himself out when the wind blew the front door shut behind him while he stepped outside for a quick smoke.
As I joked at the time, that turned into a rather expensive cigarette.
I quoted the opening cost before attending and the customer agreed.
Once on site, I opened the door using a letterbox tool without damaging the lock, the locking points or the door itself.
Access was restored quickly and the existing hardware remained untouched, which is always the preferred outcome when a straightforward non-destructive opening is possible.
