A customer in Hemel Hempstead asked me to install a Screen With Envy side gate to separate her garden from the neighbour’s driveway.
It was a beautiful gate with composite panels, a key lock and what felt like millions of screws to put together. 🙂 Both the height and the width were easily adjustable, which made it possible to set it up properly for the opening.
I’m sure somebody will say you could simply put your leg over it because it is only about four feet high, but it still gives the garden a proper separation from the neighbouring driveway and provides a lockable entrance.
It would have been a much more enjoyable installation if it had not poured down with rain, but you cannot always get what you ask for.
The side gate was assembled, installed and left locking properly.
