A customer in Iver got in touch after an attempted break-in damaged the lock on his shed.
The original lock was quite light-duty, so rather than replace it with something similar, the customer wanted a more robust option.
I recommended a bar-style lock that offered a stronger setup for the shed door.
Installing it was not quite as simple as it looked because the position of the existing lock had to be reused as neatly as possible and the new keep needed careful alignment.
After taking the necessary measurements, I fitted the new lock over the old opening and made only minimal adjustments to the keep.
The finished installation covered the previous lock position cleanly and the shed door was locking properly again with the more substantial replacement in place.
