A customer in Windsor got in touch after one of her neighbours recommended me.
She wanted the same sort of security upgrade they had previously had done: both the rim lock and the deadbolt replaced with higher-security versions, with the added convenience of the same key operating both locks.
Because the property was in the same apartment complex and I already knew the door setup, there was no need for a separate measuring visit. I explained the cost, the customer agreed and I ordered the keyed-alike locks the same day.
The new locks were ready for installation the following day, although the customer was not available then, so we arranged a more convenient appointment.
Once on site, I removed the existing locks and fitted the new keyed-alike rim lock and deadbolt.
The finished setup gave the customer upgraded security without having to carry separate keys for the two locks.
