A customer in Aldershot wanted a cat flap fitted into an internal hollow-core door leading from a storage room.
She already had the cat flap ready and wanted the opening positioned neatly and installed professionally.
Once the position was agreed, I marked out the template and cut the opening to suit the unit.
Because the door was hollow-core, this was much easier than some of the timber, panel and glazed-door pet-flap jobs I have dealt with. The opening could be cut cleanly without the extra sealing work needed on an external door.
I fitted the cat flap, checked the movement and left everything ready for the customer’s cat to learn how to use it.
A simple job, but still one where accurate marking and a tidy cut make the difference between a neat installation and a damaged door.
